Kinesiology

Kinesiology integrates a variety of tools from both Western and complementary health. Combining Traditional Chinese Medicine knowledge of human physiology and anatomy with Western Medicine healing techniques, it aims to restore the body to homeostasis by identifying factors such as underlying stress that can block the body's natural healing process.

Kinesiology benefits all healing modalities by helping to identify the psychological and emotional root causes of dysfunction. We use the body’s knowledge of itself to identify the underlying cause of physical, psychological, or emotional pain.

Throughout our lives, our experiences stimulate an array of emotions that can get stored in our bodies, causing blockages in the nervous system. These blockages may be structural, biochemical, psycho-emotional, or energetic imbalances within the body. They can manifest into a variety of issues such as physical (pain, injury, disease etc), neurological (learning difficulties, ADHD, autism etc), or psychological (depression, anxiety etc.). Through the use of gentle, non-invasive muscle monitoring, kinesiologists receive feedback from the body through the subconscious and conscious areas of the brain, to identify the root cause of those issues.

Kinesiology is based around the body’s energy system and meridian pathways, which are directly related to the organs and energy centres. Kinesiology can assist to release the physical and emotional blockages in these pathways, caused by those built up emotions, to bring the mind, body and soul back into balance.
